“An aware person thinks what they want to think, regardless of appearances. An ignorant person permits the appearance of things to control his / her thoughts.” Bob Proctor
My previous post and this one are devoted to the new things I’ve learned on the 3-day event Science of Getting Rich, organized by Proctor-Gallagher Institute.
Again, you can get YOUR free copy of the book I’ve found just for YOU here (direct download)…
To move on with few more things I’ve learned…
Up until this event I thought of it as a 2-end line – either you are aware or you are not.
But it’s not that simple.
It’s not just black and white.
There is much more to it.
There are not two, but seven levels of awareness.
And what level you are at depends on whether you react or respond on the “curve balls” life throws at you…
Here are the levels, starting from the bottom:
- Animalistic awareness
People at this stage are only able to do three things – fight, flee or play dead (ignore, pretend “the thing” never happened). These are also the choices for an area where person is totally ignorant.
- Mass awareness
Follow the crowd. Don’t stand out. This creates sense of belonging. It’s safer.
You get a desire to improve your life – to do, be and have more. However, your paradigm kicks in (more on paradigms will follow) and resistance from the people you surround yourself with. They don’t want you to change. They don’t want you to leave them.
This is the determination point …
Whether YOU take adequate actions… or don’t, determine whether you go back into mass awareness or you grow into…
- Individual awareness
You are following your individual thoughts and ideas. You are yourself.
You have the ability to give yourself a command and follow it through to final realization.
You have gathered information and you are able to use it in your actions. Your experience comes from doing, taking action and failing forward.
You respond to the world and every thing in it. You are in total control of your own life.
Take your time and evaluate yourself. What stage are you at?
I guess I was really, really stuck in the aspiration level for quite some time.
I was a dreamer, until an e-mail challenged me to become a doer.
So, I would say I am at the discipline level now… gathering experience from failing… forward.
And I challenge YOU now.
Unless you’ve reached the Mastery level…
YOU can still advance.
Second, and maybe to me, most interesting thing I’ve learned is the…
“If you want small changes in your life, work on your attitude. But if you want big and primary changes, work on your paradigm.” Stephen Covey
What is a paradigm anyway?
I didn’t quite understand the meaning.
Until I heard Bob Proctor explaining it…
Again… and again… until I finally grasped it.
It’s our programming.
Our habitual way of thinking and behaving that leads to the results we get in life.
And for 99% of us… we haven’t even created it ourselves. It’s something we’ve inherited through our genetic and environmental conditioning.
At first, I thought of the paradigm as a “bad thing”.
Now… I am finally clear that everyone has a paradigm. It’s neither good nor bad.
It’s just a matter of whether it works for us or against us.
Becoming aware of its effect through our result is the first step…
Laying a new paradigm over the old one, ensuring that the old one is sealed and can’t “leak through” again is the second step…
Consciously “fine tuning” to make sure that it is always aligned with our current desires, goals, and dreams is the final step of this awareness increasing paradigm shifting process.
However, we’ve been stuck in our paradigm for our whole life.
And most people around us are stuck in the same paradigm.
We need an outside bird-view to help us become aware of it, take the necessary steps to make the shift and maintain the course to the next level of our life.
That is if we really, really want to… and choose to, of course.
If you are at all interested in taking your life to the next level…
If you want to increase your awareness level…
If your results don’t match your intentions…
If you are stuck in a paradigm that does not serve you and does not support you anymore…
If you want to learn and exchange ideas with the master on the subject, Bob Proctor himself…
I highly recommend joining this powerful program – the Proctor Gallagher Streaming Club.
It’s a membership of like minded people where Bob Proctor and his business partner Sandy Gallagher stream LIVE at least once a week, they share genius insights, powerful lessons and big ideas and you can pick their brains through regular Q&As.
It’s like being part of their mastermind group…
It’s like being part of their inner circle.
